Nature Preserve: Esopus Creek Conservancy (156 acres) To access the preserve from 9W in Barclay Heights, take Overbaugh Street. Make a left onto Simmons Drive, a right onto Appletree Drive and a left onto Shady Lane. There is a parking lot that can accommodate a few cars. When you enter the preserve at Shady Lane you can follow a 1.2 mile loop trail with blue markers.
